Corporate Social Support Programmes for Women: New Approaches and Technologies

Several studies show that teams made up of men and women of different ages make more effective business decisions and respond better to new challenges. They are creative and better equipped to develop innovations. This is especially important at the corporate management level. A balance of men and women in management increases profitability. Investing effectively in the professional growth of women ensures sustainable economic growth – not only for business, but for the state too. And this is encouraging corporations to more actively seek new ways to attract women.

What trends aimed at promoting the interests of women are being implemented in corporate programmes at the state level in Russia and around the world? What best practices did the “Women Leaders” competition run by the Council of Eurasian Women’s Forum help to identify? Can they be replicated to any meaningful degree? What HR policy trends can be identified today? How do social programmes aimed at preserving the institution of the family work?

The Future of BRICS: Prospects for Cooperation

BRICS is evolving and playing an increasingly important role in the world. The accession of new member countries into BRICS and the prospects for the further expansion of the inter-state association, cooperation in the economic, political and humanitarian spheres, and the need to find joint solutions to the global challenges facing humanity – all this requires adjustments and updates to be made to the association’s agenda, the humanitarian part in particular. It has to be adapted to modern realities, while at the same time being forward-looking. The interaction between civil society and the expansion of cooperation between women leaders, scientists and public figures will go a long way to solving this problem.

What mechanisms should be used to develop international cooperation among female-led NGOs? What prospects does interaction among NGOs led by women open up in environmental protection, the study of the history, culture and spiritual values of various countries, and the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens? What aspects will the participation of women leaders bring to the study of the global mechanisms that regulate public life (values)? How will consolidating their efforts contribute to the development of human potential in the BRICS countries?

Open session of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance

The Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship in the BRICS Countries

The BRICS Women’s Business Alliance has been an important mechanism for cooperation within BRICS ever since its inception in 2020. The Alliance’s main activities are focused on promoting female entrepreneurship and increasing the role of women entrepreneurs in the development of trade and economic cooperation in the BRICS countries.

BRICS takes up 36% of the globe’s land area and represents 3.5 billion people, half of the world’s food production, and more than 44% of the world’s oil reserves. For the business community, the expansion of the association opens up new prospects for cooperation and the exchange of experience, and provides additional opportunities for investment.

What impact has the accession of new countries to the BRICS association had on the business agenda and the entrepreneurial environment of participating countries? What approaches are being used to find new points for the development of multilateral business cooperation? What areas of cooperation are a priority in terms of expanding the association? What joint women’s projects are being implemented to develop economic ties between the BRICS countries?
