The Accounts Chamber of Russia summed up the results of work on the forum track in 2024

In 2024, the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation (AC RF) took an active part in business events organized and operated by the Roscongress Foundation. Representatives of the AC RF held and participated in discussions covering a wide range of topical issues of optimizing public administration and external audit processes within the framework of the Russian Federation's Presidency of the BRICS association and international business events.

"The interaction between the Accounts Chamber of Russia and the Roscongress Foundation "on the sidelines" of major international events provided the agency with the opportunity not only to present its position on key issues of the economy and financial control, but also to build an open dialogue with representatives of government agencies, business, the expert community and foreign partners. The active participation of leading specialists, representatives of international organizations and the private sector in the Foundation's events allows for a multidisciplinary approach to analyzing and solving problems, which ultimately increases the transparency and efficiency of government institutions. We highly value this cooperation and see significant potential for further development in it," said Auditor of the Accounts Chamber Svetlana Orlova.

An intensive program of strengthening international cooperation has become a key track in 2024 in the work of Russian ministries and departments. The Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation took an active part in the work of international dialogue formats. 2024 — the year of the Russian Federation's Presidency of the BRICS association — created unique opportunities to strengthen global international cooperation through the agency's expertise. In this context, the most significant event was the IV meeting of the heads of the supreme audit institutions of the BRICS countries, which was held in July in Ufa, operated by the Roscongress Foundation. The main topic of the meeting was issues of sustainable development audit. Following the events of the BRICS calendar with the participation of the department, the Ufa Declaration was approved, the main principles of which were reflected in the Kazan Declaration, adopted following the key event of the Russian chairmanship - the BRICS Summit on October 22-24, 2024. The document speaks about the important role that public sector audit plays in ensuring the efficiency, accountability, effectiveness and transparency of public administration in the BRICS countries and maintaining their financial and economic stability.

"The Accounts Chamber of Russia is the guarantor of fairness and transparency of public administration. The active work of the department on the forum track of the largest business events allowed to build an effective dialogue, combining the expertise of the public sector and the dynamics of private business. This symbiosis of knowledge and practical experience is indispensable in the development of strategies for the sustainable development of Russia, including in the framework of work with foreign partners, primarily in the BRICS unification. The work done has become an important component in the development of strategic initiatives, ensuring economic sovereignty and improving the quality of life of citizens, strengthening Russia's position on the world stage as a responsible and progressive partner," said Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov.

The participation of the RF Accounting Chamber in the business agenda of the events was multifaceted.
