Third Eurasian Women’s Forum to Discuss the Role of Women’s International Business Dialogue in World Trade

On 15 June, in the Federation Council, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Galina Karelova and General Director of Russian Export Center JSC Veronika Nikishina discussed the running and preparation of the business programme of the Eurasian Women’s Forum to be held in St. Petersburg on 13­–15 October.

The Forum’s events will be devoted to the mission of women in developing a new agenda of peace and trust, promoting healthcare, the development of the economy and digitalisation, social change and safeguarding the environment. An important focal point will be increasing the participation of women in the economy.

In this regard, Russian Export Center JSC is supporting a session entitled “Women’s Cooperation in International Trade”. Participants in this session will discuss international chains of cooperation in women’s entrepreneurship, broadening women’s participation in the development of export and the economy, as well as measures to support women exporters.

A special display showcasing the achievements of Russian women exporters will help draw attention to new areas of growth in accessing the international market.

Forum participants will be able to discover the most successful export projects led by Russian women entrepreneurs, as well as the export centre’s digital platform.
