On September 19, during the fourth Eurasian Women's Forum, which is expected to bring together representatives from almost 130 countries, the Roscongress Foundation's social platform, the Innosocium Foundation, will hold a session entitled "How to Increase the Attractiveness of Women's Professional Development in the Workplace?" The event will take place in Hall No. 11 of the Tauride Palace from 11:30 to 13:00.
The panelists will discuss the role of professional women communities in modern industries, potential ways to develop and improve the education and training system, new opportunities for using digital technologies, and the role of international cooperation to promote the professional and personal development of women's leadership.
– The topic of the session is one of the most relevant. Although the global trend is aimed at promoting women in all sectors of the economy, the presence of women in industry is not yet equal. There are industries where the share of women is less than 15–25%, while there are no obstacles in terms of physical activity in them. It is obvious that new comprehensive strategies are needed to increase the attractiveness of manufacturing industries for women. Experts' points of view, experience in supporting women in companies, research data – all this will be presented at the session and will be useful for subsequent practical decisions, – said the Chairperson of the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum, Senator Galina Karelova.
The session will be moderated by Elena Lazko, partner and head of strategic and operational consulting practice at Kept.
Invited to participate in the session are Svetlana Bobrik, Director of the Vetonit mineral insulation plant, Darya Kryachkova, Vice President for HR Policy at Norilsk Nickel, Olga Shchetinina, Member of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture, Tatyana Efimova, Director of Development at SplatGlobal LLC, Chiu See Anderson, President of the National Women's Council of Australia, and Olivia Limpe Av, President of the Philippine International Trading Company Archipelago.
The Fourth Eurasian Women's Forum will be held on September 18–20 in St. Petersburg. The EWF is organized by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The operator for the preparation and holding of the event is the Roscongress Foundation.
