Signing of a partnership agreement in terms of expert and information cooperation

During the third day of the fourth Eurasian Women's Forum, a partnership agreement was signed in terms of expert and information cooperation between the NAFI analytical center and the Foundation for the Support and Development of Women's Initiatives "Association of Women in the Nuclear Industry".

The document was signed by Guzeliya Rinatovna Imaeva , General Director of the NAFI analytical center, and co-founder of the Foundation for the Support and Development of Women's Initiatives "Association of Women of the Nuclear Industry" Alexandra Ryabykh .

"At the forum, we launched a competition of women's environmental projects of the BRICS countries. The organizers of this competition are the state corporation Rosatom and the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum. As part of this competition, from the point of view of methodology, analytics and those focus groups and girls who will participate in the competition, we hope for the active support of NAFI," said Alexandra Ryabykh .

Guzeliya Imaeva , for her part, added: “Alexandra has already said that a global project has been launched at the forum — an environmental competition, a BRICS women’s competition. And our task is to act as the operator of this competition, provide information support for the competition in the BRICS countries, provide methodological support, further evaluation of the applications received for the competitive procedures, and then present the results. That is, our task is to popularize and support the best projects on the topic of ecology, especially where women show themselves. These are projects related to technological innovations, innovations in the field of ecology that solve major significant problems of a social nature, and, as you have seen, the topic of ecology was repeatedly mentioned on the agenda and at the plenary session. And this is truly, probably, a global challenge. Therefore, we believe that this project will allow us to unite the efforts of women from the BRICS countries here. And we have launched this work together with our colleagues. And we plan to present the results by the end of the year. This will motivate both young girls and women who are currently working on the topic of ecology and innovations in this area to feel even more confident, feel support and scale up their projects for the benefit of all of us, our planet.”

The Fourth Eurasian Women's Forum is taking place on September 18-20 in St. Petersburg. The organizers of the EWF are the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The operator for the preparation and holding of the event is the Roscongress Foundation.
