Signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation

During the third day of the fourth Eurasian Women's Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was ceremoniously signed between the BRICS Women's Business Alliance and the public association "Belarusian Union of Women" on the opening of a regional office of the BRICS Women's Business Alliance in the Republic of Belarus.

The document was signed by: Anna Vladimirovna Nesterova , Chairperson of the Russian part of the BRICS Women's Business Alliance, and Olga Aleksandrovna Shpilevskaya , Chairperson of the public association "Belarusian Union of Women".

Anna Nesterova : "We see a demand from serious women entrepreneurs who want to join the business track of the BRICS Women's Alliance. And it is very important for us that these women came to today's forum. They were at our forum in June. They actively participate in all our projects. These are the things that should form the basis for signing documents. It is important not just to sign documents, but to carry out serious preparatory work before signing. This is the basis for formal documentation, for cementing business partnerships."

Olga Shpilevskaya : "Today, an important historical event took place for us - we signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the BRICS Women's Business Alliance and the Belarusian Union of Women. We took the first step to open a regional BRICS office in the Republic of Belarus. This is important for us, because entrepreneurship is developing very actively here. The office will become a new platform for the development of women's entrepreneurship, will open up new opportunities for our women. I am sure that this will soon be marked by specific figures!"

The Fourth Eurasian Women's Forum is taking place on September 18-20 in St. Petersburg. The organizers of the EWF are the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The operator for the preparation and holding of the event is the Roscongress Foundation.
