— Today, Russian women demonstrate a desire to participate in socio-political life and various social projects. At the same time, they manage to preserve their purpose - to be the keepers of traditions. After all, family traditions, for example, cooking, joint handicrafts, are a reflection of our national values. Cooking is a shared experience, it is the warmth of home, family, it is an intergenerational dialogue, just like handicraft. Traditions contain a very deep, large-scale meaning of both our consolidation and our internal strength, both of the female community and of Russian society as a whole,” noted Elena Malysheva, head of the National Center for Historical Memory under the President of the Russian Federation.
