The IV Eurasian Women's Forum will feature products with regional flavor from Russia and the CIS countries

The international competition "Cultural Code 2.0" has ended. It was organized by the team of the project of the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum "Development of Women's Entrepreneurship" , the Wildberries company and the Committee for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship "OPORA RUSSIA" especially for the IV Eurasian Women's Forum. It was attended by women entrepreneurs who are engaged in the promotion of the cultural code of their country in goods or packaging.

The application campaign showed that businesses are interested in working with this topic, with tastes and images familiar to everyone, revealing their new facets, reviving folk crafts and traditions: the competition included forty people per place.

Based on the results, 10 winners will be determined. The laureates will present their products at the IV Eurasian Women's Forum, receive promotional support from Wildberries, and will be able to take part in business accelerator programs conducted by OPORA RUSSIA.

Among the winners:

  • Mother and daughter Yulia and Tatyana Kiiko from Tver, who produce cosmetics based on Russian herbs and wild plants;
  • The family of Yulia Lobova from Kemerovo are creators of furniture made of oak and metal;
  • Oksana Smirnova from Kazan is a designer who sews clothes from recycled materials and decorates them with Tatar patterns;
  • Ksenia Maykifer from Crimea produces clothes with prints of Aivazovsky’s paintings and images of the peninsula’s landmarks;
  • Bakhytgul Toktybaeva from the Republic of Kazakhstan, who creates ethnic stage and national costumes;
  • Spouses Svetlana Siparova and Andrey Serikov from the Republic of Belarus - among their products, the clothing collection "Slavic Ornaments" occupies a place of honor;
  • Shakhnoza Aliyeva from the Republic of Uzbekistan - she conveys the flavor of her native land in home clothes made of silk and cotton.

The winners also included a group of artists from Ufa who transfer tattoos onto clothing and collaborate with tattoo artists around the world; a brand of silk scarves based on Russian fairy tales from Moscow; and a clothing brand with national flavor from the Kyrgyz Republic.

The IV Eurasian Women's Forum will feature several exhibition areas with products from Russian women. The organizers of the expositions, where you can view, try and test the products, are the Russian Export Center, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, OPORA RUSSIA and others.
