The Eurasian Women's Forum discussed the cultural code of female entrepreneurship

On September 20, the final day of the fourth Eurasian Women's Forum, a thematic session "Cultural Code: Development of Women's Entrepreneurship" was held. Participants from different countries discussed women's business and social initiatives dedicated to supporting and popularizing traditions and folk art.

The session was moderated by Karine Khabirova, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Territory of Happiness Charitable Foundation . She noted that the promotion of cultural traditions of regions and countries was reflected in the international competition Cultural Code 2.0: Women's Entrepreneurship. It was organized by the team of the Eurasian Women's Forum Council project Development of Women's Entrepreneurship, Wildberries, and the Committee for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship of OPORA RUSSIA.

The head of the staff of T. V. Bakalchuk, Director of Special Projects at RVB LLC Anna Starkova , told more about the history of this project . The Wildberries project "Cultural Code of Russia" appeared on the initiative of Tatyana Bakalchuk: a brand truck arrived at SPIEF-2024 through Russian cities, thanks to which the Forum delegates could get acquainted with the best works of local Russian entrepreneurs from different regions. The competition "Cultural Code 2.0: Women's Entrepreneurship" was organized especially for the fourth Eurasian Women's Forum, which united more than 500 participants from 47 regions of Russia.

"The DNA of our company is the development of entrepreneurship and the unique culture of the country. The most important thing for us is supporting entrepreneurship, and first of all, local entrepreneurship. We understand how important it is to revive our unique traditions. Each region of Russia and each country has something that we want to reflect. That is why Wildberries has sections called "Cultural Code" and "Folk Art and Crafts", they are very popular. After the SPIEF, we developed the project and announced a second competition - for women. We will announce the winners today at the end of the session," said Anna Starkova .

Nadiya Cherkasova, Chairperson of the Committee for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship of the All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship "OPORA RUSSIA", spoke about the growth of women's business, which was facilitated by the active development of remote technologies and marketplaces. According to her, against the backdrop of the growth of the creative economy, women's projects offer great opportunities for synergy.

The expert noted that she invites models from all over the world to demonstrate her collections. According to Ms. Al Awadi, women cannot give young people advice for all occasions, but they should be examples for their children and employees, showing how to love their work and work hard.
