Representatives of relevant ministries and departments discussed the preparation of the IV Eurasian Women's Forum

Chairman of the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum, Senator Galina Karelova, held a working meeting on the preparation of the IV Eurasian Women's Forum, which was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and departments.

Opening it, the senator recalled that the main theme of the Forum, “Women for building trust and global cooperation,” is planned to be discussed within 5 thematic platforms: women in shaping a new agenda for peace and trust; women in the new economic reality: technology and innovation; women for a healthy society and social well-being; women for the preservation of traditions and cultural diversity; as well as within the framework of the environmental platform.

One of the days of the Forum will be entirely devoted to cooperation with the BRICS countries. The program includes the BRICS Women's Forum, a meeting of the BRICS ministers for women's affairs, a presentation of a competition of environmental projects for women in the BRICS countries, a meeting of the BRICS Women's Business Alliance, etc.

A special feature of the Forum will be the preparation of a number of special services for its participants - they will be able to express their wishes during registration.

“We strive to use all modern opportunities - organizational, technical and technological, so that the Forum participants work comfortably, so that they can plan their participation in the forum as efficiently as possible, choose a convenient time and place for negotiations and local events,” emphasized Galina Karelova.

She also noted as one of the key features of the Forum the holding of a large number of events, marathons, international, federal and regional forums in the run-up to it. This made it possible, according to her, to significantly expand the geography and number of participants in the Forum, and to supplement its business, cultural and other parts of the program.

The formation of the Forum program is almost complete, but until the end of June, the senator added, additions to it from departments and foreign partners are possible.

She identified tasks whose solution requires joint participation. These include strengthening information support for the Forum, identifying speakers for strategic sessions, completing the selection of applicants for the “Public Recognition” award, preliminary preparation of agreements, etc.
